Rottweiler Finds His New Family

Beta Ray Bill

Beta Ray Bill

Six-year-old Rottweiler Beta Ray Bill arrived at our Escondido Campus after being found dirty and alone near Valley View Casino in San Pasqual.

A little bit reserved, he was otherwise a very friendly fellow who warmed quickly to our staff. Other than small signs of neglect, he exhibited no serious health concerns while in our care and was quickly adopted.

However, after a couple of weeks, the new owner brought Beta Ray Bill back to us because he was experiencing seizures. After consulting with a local veterinarian, the new owner decided they were unable to afford the cost for his continued care.

Beta Ray BillAt San Diego Humane Society, we will always take an animal back when they need our help, so our medical team put Beta Ray Bill on medication to control his seizures and updated his biography to let potential adopters know about his condition.

It was only a couple of weeks before this kind-hearted boy attracted the attention of a family that could give him the love and continued care he needed.

Thanks to your support, we can provide specialized medical care and second chances to deserving animals, and Beta Ray Bill is now healthy and thriving with his new family!
